The coast is a place of wonder and beauty, but it can also be easy to miss the magic in the everyday. In this video, I explore the art of subtle coastal photography, and try to capture the essence of the coastline, at Port beach near Dunany County Louth.

In this video, I find myself on the breathtaking, deserted beach at Magheroarty in remote North West Donegal, Ireland, in attempt to capture the beauty of its coastline during a flying visit. The beach is surrounded by sand dunes, looks out on a distant Tory Island with a backdrop of the beautiful mountains of Donegal.

A little like Peter Pan I get frustrated by a shadow, fall across rocks, talk to myself, shout at the sky, as I attempt to capture the raw beauty of Cruit Island and its deserted golden beaches in Donegal.

The latest YouTube blog takes me to the Beara Peninsula in the south of Ireland. It is a place I haven’t been to in a number of years, and to be honest its a place I need to visit more frequently. My travels and more importantly the images can be viewed on the video below.
