Rumour has it that an ark has been seen and two by two the cue. Yep July is almost over and like June it’s the wettest on record. Wonderful!
The landscape images I have been taking of late have an almost autumnal feel about them, rapidly changing light mixed with heavy sudden showers. Makes me glad that the camera I use is weather sealed and that we have so many good pubs to wait out the passing downpours.
As people who read this little blog of mine know (Hi Andy). I made a trip to Kerry last month, the Dingle Pennisula to be specific. While there and despite promisies to myself. I made a visit to the Conor pass a view point that all tourist head for. That fateful day saw me cross the Conor pass, Irelands highest mountain pass.
As luck would have it I saw nothing while at the summit. The clouds were down low and the cars fog lights where called for as I made my way gingerly across the pass. Once below the clouds the view was fantastic.
Despite those promises I made it was hard not to get the camera out. The resulting image is my homage to a view from the Conor pass County Kerry.
